What New Profile Changes Mean

Facebook recently announced that it would be significantly changing user profile pages. Justin Smith provides some nice early analysis of the magnitude of the change.
What does this mean for brands, users and developers?
To be honest, nobody knows.
Facebook hasn’t provided a test console for the new profiles, released any API information, or even made decisions about where applications can appear. With all this up in the air, it’s hard to believe that new profiles will debut in April. But Facebook says they will.
The bottom line? It’s a waiting game. All developers and brands can do now is wait and scramble to keep up.
