What Channel is Best for Your Brand?

As the platform space heats up, brand managers and product directors have an obvious question when it comes to promotion. Since there are a number of social networks available for your brand, which one is best? Or, how do you leverage them all?
As a Facebook Application Development company, Lonely CEO Media is a little biased. As consultants, we can address in detail the reasons we think Facebook works best (especially since OpenSocial is a figment, not a reality).
However, a few questions help-
If social networks were a magazine, which would I buy in?
Which gives me the best users for the lowest cost?
Which presents the highest return for the smallest risk? Which gives me the most control over my brand? This is especially important when evaluating totally “open” sites.
