Open Social: How Open?

So Open Social has launched. What is it missing that Facebook has?
1. Ad Targeting- the chief reason to be on a typically low CPM platform like a social network.
2. Complex interest queries.
3. Deep integration with profiles and users.
4. Clear space where the app will be showcased (directory).
5. Security and spam protections against Javascript.
6. Clear branding conventions.
7. Control over preferred Social Network.
And a lot more.
Some of these problems will go away.
Some can’t, inherently.
Open Social is certainly getting a lot of hype. Whether it will bring developers success is another matter.
