MySpace and Charlie Rose

It’s a little outdated, but Chris DeWolfe and Tom Anderson’s recent appearance on the Charlie Rose show sheds some light on the questions facing the industry. In the long run, is a focus on monetization or innovation more financially rewarding? Are Facebook and MySpace fundamentally different? And how long can MySpace sugarcoat declining marketshare with high revenue? In turn, how long can Facebook sugarcoat low revenue with increasing marketshare?
