Metrics For @ Tagging

Yesterday, Facebook announced that it would allow Twitter-esque @ tagging of friends and pages.
Expect to see a new update to your page’s Insights tab when this feature rolls out.
Still, there are a few hurdles for brands. First, it might be difficult to hold contests or make other attempts to drive recognition and interaction if user data is still anonymized. Second, the example Facebook gives demonstrates another problem. Will users really want to have the clunky, corporate phrase “Starbucks Coffee Company” appear when they’re announcing their intent to grab a drink? We’re not so sure- yet.
