Haven’t Made a Facebook Page Yet?

We’ll admit- we’ve never been on the Facebook Page bandwagon. In fact, our company chooses not to use one.

However, Facebook’s new search strategy does make your Facebook Page strategy clear: stay out of the walled garden, or go all in. If you have a Facebook page already, it’s likely that the SEO relevance of the page will significantly improve. In light of Facebook Connect, it seems a bit like a step backward for Facebook to push Pages so heavily. That said, your brand doesn’t need to comment on Facebook’s strategy- it needs to respond to it. And, right now, that means investing in your newly relevant page or getting out unscathed.
