Authenticating Pages

Facebook is becoming more aggressive in authenticating pages.

Owners of large pages should look for an email to authenticate themselves as valid representatives of their page.

They’ll then be sent to the following authentication page.

Looking forward, this may help end some of the confusion about pages. Like Twitter’s Verified Accounts, Facebook’s Authenticated pages will legitimize social identities.
