So, in the past some know-it-all pundits have mentioned that Facebook utilizes a relatively rare CPM (cost per thousand) method to sell ads on its site. Now, Facebook announced that it’s testing out “Flyers” (sic) that run on a cost-per-click basis. Sounds a little like Google, doesn’t it?

Blaming Facebook for lost productivity is like blaming umbrellas for the rain.
People worldwide spend far more time on MySpace. The biggest reason might be that Facebook is simply more efficient- it makes the clutter manageable.

Groups definitely help (mobilize) (people).
Eventually, stories like these will stop. A story prefaced by the phrase “on Facebook” will become redundant- of course it’s on Facebook. And of course it happened- the site is a reflection of everything else that happens in the “real world”.
